Techaya’s MILTECH 5002 Series is a MIL-STD rugged, military-grade communication system for transferring Video, Serial (RS-422), Discrete Signals and Gigabit Ethernet to four strands of Tactical Fiber using Expanded Beam technology. It is a robust solution for transferring tactical communication signals in applications, such as remote control of guided missile systems, over fiber. By extending the missile control functionality over a distance of few kilometers over fiber, it provides protection to the operational personal from direct launcher hit/bombing.
This 2U rack-mountable unit is designed to meet MIL-STD-810F, MIL-STD-461E, MIL-STD-1275B airborne, ground mobile environmental, EMI/RFI compliance for high reliability. It comes equipped with the following port configuration:
2 x Composite Video
1 x Serial Data RS422 up to 15Mhz
8 x Isolated DI (Open / GND)
8 x Isolated DO (Open / GND)
4 x managed switched 10/100/1000TX ports
All the signals are transferred over 4 single stands using Expanded Beam Tactical Fiber Optic connector.
